Sinclair is now offering lumped element filters for applications requiring high isolation to eliminate interference. These filters provide superior performance for channel isolation between closed frequency bands in situations such as:
Co-location of two close frequency band radio systems.
The existence of external close frequency band RF sources.
Featuring extremely low insertion loss and compact packaging (4.83”x1.45”x0.96” metal housing), these units can handle up to 150W transmit power when mounted on a metal panel or bracket and provide 70 dB minimum rejection.
Additional 70 dB isolation can be achieved between 160 MHz voice and 220 MHz data systems by installing one FP161R220 unit and one FP220R161 unit with the corresponding radio systems. This saves tower or locomotive rooftop space and prevents the 220 MHz data system from de-sensitizing.
The FP220R098 protects the 220 MHz data system from existing FM broadcasting channels, while the FP161R098 reduces interference from FM channels for 160 MHz voice radios. Both can be used for base station or mobile applications.
