Sinclair Product Catalogue

Sinclair's 2007/2008 product catalogue is now available! The catalogue features our newest products such as Sinclair's 700/800 MHz omni, directional yagi and exposed dipole antennas, all designed to provide superior coverage. For user friendly navigation of our full line catalogue we have divided it into 3 main categories;

This new low PIM, multi-port collinear antenna series combines two or three antennas into a single radome, functioning as two or three separate antennas, which significantly reduces tower loading.
The isolation between each port is 40-45dB.
Currently we offer 0dBd, 3dBd and 6dBd dual port and 0dBd triple port versions for 746-869MHz.
6dBd dual port antenna for 806-960MHz will be available by December 2007.
We will also provide triple port 6dBd antennas for 746-869MHz band and 806-960MHz band upon customer request.

New Sales Offices

Sinclair is proud to announce the opening of two new sales offices. Technical Bulletin: Passive Inter-modulation (PIM)

Passive inter-modulation (PIM) is a process where new undesired RF noise byproducts are created when two or more desired RF signals are present. PIM can significantly degrade communication system performance by reducing receiver sensitivity and limiting effective coverage range. Ongoing increases in frequency congestion and site density are compounding PIM problems in the field and are driving the need for low PIM antennas. PIM can also cause interference with other communication systems and violate regulatory requirements. Communication system designs that use standard non-low PIM antennas in frequency-congested and site-dense areas can experience severe PIM related performance degradation. Customers of such designs often end up with high final system costs due to special or custom filtering requirements for PIM related problems.
Beginning in the early 1990's, Sinclair began to develop, manufacture and test low PIM antennas and concluded that special design techniques can reduce PIM by-products to very low levels, including material selection, surface finish, mechanical joints and assembly methods. Sinclair's PIM standard is a 3rd order inter-modulation signal of minus 150 dBc. After introducing its first series of low PIM dipole and collinear antennas in 1995, Sinclair has continued to expand its range of products to include several 700/800 MHz dual band (746-869 MHz) antennas such as the 9 dBd SC479 collinear series, the 7.5 to 15 dBd SE enclosed dipole series and the 0 to 6 dBd SC432 dual or triple port collinear series.

In addition if you are planning to side-mount a collinear antenna, we recommend Sinclair's SMK series side mounting kit which is designed to provide greater stability against the environment.
