Since its inaugural regional Canadian conference in 1988, APCO Canada has delivered an annual flagship event focused on providing its membership with valuable education, networking and learning opportunities to enhance their profession. With significant emphasis placed on professional development and growth, the annual APCO Canada Conference offers a unique forum for public-safety communication officials to take in relevant and often leading-edge education to support advanced knowledge and performance in their roles. The event will include the trade show, an annual Awards Gala, Annual General Meeting and three full days of industry-leading educational and networking opportunities.
Highlighted at the show will be Sinclair’s next generation SY Series 6-element Yagi antennas. The SY350-SWBSNM(ABK) and SY450-SWBSNM(ABK) Series features a highly directional radiating pattern ideal for point-to-point communication applications. The SY Series is ideal for wideband systems as these antennas achieve superior performance over the entire 746-960 MHz and 380-512 MHz frequency bands, depending on the model. All elements in the SY Series are DC grounded for lightning protection. This series has been largely used in applications like Public safety, Utility, Cellular, Transit and Natural Resources. The SY350 and SY450 Series feature a seamless aluminum body, which is 360° fully welded for durability and enhanced electrical performance. These pre-assembled antennas can also be stacked for additional gain. Besides the corrosion-resistant anodized aluminum body for added durability and long life, the ABK models of the SY series are finished with an additional sleek black coating. The fully sealed-driven element offers complete protection against humidity, acid rain, or salt spray.
